Simple Description:
This practical course has two objectives: one is to help students get familiar with Linux OS in terms of its usage (command line user interfaces,shell programming) and system call programming (fork, exec); the other is to help students understand the Linux kernel architecture, study the core source code such as process management, memory management, and virtual file system, understand the trade-off measures involved, make some improvement or implement some drivers.
