Mr. Sethna is a Vice President (New Technology Initiatives) with over 27 years of experience in Software Development, Capacity Planning, Computer System Acquisition, and Software Project Management. He has successfully executed large projects like MTNL Billing, BSE Internet Trading System, Dubai Water Billing, etc.His primary focus is on scanning emerging technologies and proliferating those having potential within the organisation. He was instrumental in starting a Visual Computing Group, and has extensive skills in Content Creation, Virtual Reality applications, Animation and Internet/ Intranet creation, and Post-Production for film and video.
Mr. Sethna also started the Java Excellence Centre with the primary objective to build intellectual capital in Java and Distributed Object Technologies. Mr Sethna has been involved with various societal projects such as Childline a national help line, working in 52 cities in India, for children in distress, Setu project which helped in the rehabilitation of earthquake affected villages in Kutch, computerisation of the National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA), etc
He is the Academic Relationship Manager for the western region and in this capacity looks after the TCS relationship with Academia.
