Phil Seeto
Senior Vice President
Phil is Senior Vice President of Integrated Systems Services. His team is responsible for delivering responsive, innovative, and cost-effective business solutions through consulting, planning, design, and implementation of enterprise-wide technology infrastructure. The services span across all platforms on mainframe, midrange, open systems, and storage.
His previous assignment was Senior Vice President of Enterprise Technology Planning & Security Services. His group managed the capacity, performance, and technology directions for all State Street corporate technology environments, as well as the company’s security infrastructure to insure the effective, efficient and secured use of Information Technology to support the clients of State Street.
Prior to joining State Street in September 2002, Phil was First Vice President of Private Client Distributed Services in Merrill Lynch, and was responsible for the delivery of high quality implementation, problem management, and infrastructure support to 600 Private Client domestic branches and non-branch locations.
Phil began his career in 1976 as a systems programmer at Royal Globe Insurance, followed by increased technical and managerial responsibilities at several other firms, including Metropolitan Life and American Express.
Phil holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer sciences from the City College of New York, as well as a Master of Science degree in computer sciences from Columbia University.
